Bill Haisten started The Haisten Group, Inc. in 1974 after starting his real estate appraisal career under the tutelage of local appraiser Jerry Brown. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1971 with a B.S. in Business Administration and went on to gain his SRA and SRPA designations from the Appraisal Institute. He has been practicing real estate appraisal in the Chattanooga area for over thirty years and is currently serving as President and CEO of The Haisten Group, Inc. Will Haisten joined the Haisten Group, Inc. in 2002 after spending two years working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. He graduated from The McCallie School in 1996 and went on to gain a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2000. Will is currently pursuing his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute while working as an Appraiser Trainee, concentrating on commercial appraisals. Karey Haisten-Matlock has been with The Haisten Group, Inc since 1999. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1992 and went on to University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997. She is currently a licensed real estate appraiser in Tennessee and Georgia. She focuses primarily on residential appraisals while pursuing her SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute. Tim Haralson joined the staff of The Haisten Group, Inc. in 1998 after over 10 years as a Real Estate Broker, builder and developer. Prior to that he was an Associate Extension Agent with The University of Tennessee. Tim has Associate, Bachelor and Masters Degrees and is currently a Certified Residential Appraiser in Tennessee and Georgia. Tim specializes in new and proposed construction, as well as land, lots and subdivisions. Tim is an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute, and is working towards the SRA designation. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Beau Matlock is a residential appraiser trainee for The Haisten Group. In addition to appraisals, Beau also does construction draws for the company. Before working with The Haisten Group, Beau served as a home inspector and as a fireman for the City of Chattanooga Fire Department. Beau and his wife, Karey, have two young sons, Ryland and Wilson.

Charlie serves The Haisten Group as a residential appraiser. Charlie also does construction draws for the company. Before joining The Haisten Group in 1997, he worked in residential construction lending for a local bank. Charlie is a licensed contractor. Susan Chastain joined The Haisten Group in 2004 as Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator. She also assists Will Haisten in commercial appraisals doing background research and scheduling. Susan graduated from Brainerd High School in 1973 and from Auburn University in 1977 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. She has 2 children, Jennifer and Brad.

Tracy Haynes has been a member of The Haisten Group, Inc. since 1998. She graduated from East Ridge High School in 2001 and from Chattanooga State Technical Community College with an associates degree in General Management in May 2004. Tracy assists the appraisers with assembling, copying, and compiling data as well as producing the final reports. Tracy enjoys taking photography classes as a hobby outside of her job.

Jennifer has held numerous positions over the past 11 years but currently provides logistical and administrative assistance to Will Haisten and Tim Haralson while also working as the information technology specialist. Lisa Nicely has worked for The Haisten Group, Inc. since 1989. She is the executive assistant to Bill Haisten, providing him with logistical and administrative support. Lisa also works closely with both Karey Haisten-Matlock and Charles Roberson providing them with appointment coordination and appraisal edits. She feels she has experienced both growth and knowledge of the appraisal process during her tenure with The Haisten Group, Inc. Libby Patterson has been with the Haisten Group since 2005. She graduated from Marshall University in 1975 and put down roots in the Chattanooga area after living in Charleston, Richmond and Houston.
